We just had the Most Amazing Meal! We started with the watermelon burrata salad, which was absolutely delicious and refreshing. I had the brisket burger which was unbelievably phenomenal. My husband had the chicken curry, which was so flavorful and authentic! We finished our delicious meal with the fig cheesecake in a jar! And the magic bar. Everything was on point. Our service was phenomenal, and the chef even brought our dishes to our table. What a wonderful dining experience!
Butternut Squash
The food is amazing! We had the Butternut Squash, Curry Chicken, and a Pear Salad with Chicken. The fusion of flavors was perfection. The menu is unique and the staff if very knowledgeable. Be sure to try an Old Fashioned made with Pine Syrup while you are there. You will not be disappointed! We will definitely go back to Highlands Tavern when we return to Highlands!
Candied bacon
What a treat! I've never tried a dish like this and it did not disappoint. The entire experience was perfect! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Can't wait to go back!
4TH Street Burger
This is THE burger to try in Highlands. Tender and juicy, with classic chargrilled flavor, plus a roasted tomato brings all the umami. It's so robust and satisfying, I can't imagine ordering anything else!
4th Street Caesar
This beautifully presented salad was fresh and delicious. Added the salmon which was perfectly cooked. I look forward to another fabulous meal from Highlands Tavern soon.

Curry Chicken
We enjoyed our first trip to the Highlands Tavern last evening for dinner. The place extremely small with limited seating. Nothing fancy here except the food. The menu is very limited yet there are enough items to pick from for a most enjoyable dinner. We ordered the baked brie as an appetizer. It was amazingly prepared and presented. My wife had the salmon and I had the curry chicken. Bot very nicely done. They have a nice selection of beers and mixed drinks. All the food is sereved on disposable hard paper plates but with actual knives and forks. Service was fine. I would consider it a bit pricey but one must factor in the Highlands prices in general. We will be going back but likely in mid week as it can be tough to find a seat on weekends with the very limited seating.
